In 2014, fifteen University of Akron (UA) students traveled to Haiti on a student-led service trip as part of the College of Business Administration’s Global Leadership Initiative. The experience inspired the creation of Zips for Haiti (Z4H), an organization that exists to improve the quality of life of Haitian students. Net proceeds from this bag of coffee will fund a scholarship for a Haitian student to study at UA.
